Fair Practice Code

Last updated: 31 July 2026 · Applicable to Adarsh Capital, a brand of Uni-Com Fincorp Private Limited

This Fair Practice Code is adopted by Uni-Com Fincorp Private Limited ("the Company") in compliance with the Reserve Bank of India's Fair Practice Code guidelines for NBFCs and the RBI Digital Lending Guidelines, 2022. It governs how the Company, under its Adarsh Capital brand, deals with customers throughout the loan lifecycle.

1. Applications and Processing

  • All loan applications are processed transparently and within reasonable timelines
  • Applicants are informed of documents required upfront, avoiding repeated requests
  • Acknowledgement is provided for every application received

2. Loan Appraisal and Terms

  • Every approved applicant receives a sanction letter/Key Fact Statement stating loan amount, interest rate (APR), tenure, processing fee and all other charges
  • Terms and conditions are communicated in a language understood by the borrower
  • No loan is disbursed without the borrower's informed, explicit consent

3. Digital Lending Practices

  • We disclose the name of the lending NBFC (Uni-Com Fincorp Private Limited) on all loan-related communication
  • We do not access a borrower's contacts, photo gallery, call logs or location without specific, need-based consent
  • No loan amount is disbursed directly into any account other than the borrower's own bank account
  • Borrowers may exercise a "cooling-off"/look-up period to exit a digital loan by paying principal and proportionate APR, as per RBI guidelines

4. Interest Rate and Charges

Interest rates and charges are levied as per our Interest Rate & Fees Policy, which is reviewed periodically and made available on this Website.

5. Fair Collection and Recovery Practices

  • Recovery agents identify themselves and carry proper authorisation before any interaction
  • Borrowers are contacted only between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM
  • We do not use threatening, abusive language, or contact a borrower's family, friends, employer or contacts to coerce repayment
  • All recovery communication is limited to the registered borrower unless legally required otherwise

6. Grievance Redressal

Any customer dissatisfied with our conduct under this Code may raise a complaint as per our Grievance Redressal Policy.

7. Non-Discrimination

The Company does not discriminate against loan applicants on grounds of gender, caste, religion or disability in the extension of credit facilities.

8. Review

This Fair Practice Code is reviewed periodically by the Company's Board of Directors to remain aligned with evolving RBI guidelines.
