The interest rate quoted is the Annual Percentage Rate (APR), inclusive of the base interest rate. Your final rate depends on credit score, income stability, loan amount, tenure and overall risk assessment.
2. Interest Rate Methodology
Interest rates are determined based on: cost of funds, credit risk profile of the borrower, tenure of the loan, operating costs and a reasonable margin, in accordance with the Company's Board-approved interest rate policy and RBI's guidelines on fair lending practices. Interest is calculated on a reducing balance basis unless otherwise stated.
3. Fees and Charges
- Processing Fee: Up to 3% of the sanctioned loan amount + applicable GST, deducted upfront or added to the loan
- Overdue EMI Charges: 2% per month on the overdue EMI amount, from the due date until payment
- Foreclosure/Prepayment Charges: Part-prepayment is not permitted. Full foreclosure is allowed only after at least 3 EMIs have been paid, and attracts a charge of Nil to 4% of the outstanding principal, as per your loan agreement and applicable RBI norms
- Cheque/Mandate Bounce Charges: ₹500 per instance of failed EMI payment (cheque/NACH/UPI mandate)
- Loan Cancellation: No extra charges apply on cancellation. Interest for the period between disbursement and cancellation remains payable, and the processing fee is non-refundable
- Statement/Duplicate Document Charges: Nominal charges for duplicate statements or NOC, as applicable
All charges are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise, and are disclosed upfront in the Key Fact Statement (KFS) before loan acceptance.
4. Key Fact Statement (KFS)
Before you accept any loan offer, you will receive a Key Fact Statement disclosing the Annual Percentage Rate, all fees, the total cost of the loan and the repayment schedule, in the standardised format mandated by RBI.
5. No Hidden Charges
The Company does not levy any charge that is not disclosed in the loan agreement or Key Fact Statement. Any change in charges will only apply prospectively and with prior notice, where required by law.
6. Review of Interest Rates
The Company's interest rate policy is reviewed periodically by its Board and may be revised based on macroeconomic conditions, cost of funds and regulatory guidance.
